The Continuation...

(And I want you to love me) Like I never left. Questions?

So here’s the thing:

I reactivated Exclamatories because that’s really more me. I like how that word rolls off the tongue and I really do have a soft spot for it. It has memories and had, for a time, a considerable amount of recognition. Retrospectively, deactivating it was a mistake. But don’t get me wrong. I like TheContinuation as well because it does feel like a continuation, an evolution, the next step. But yeah, I haven’t been updating it and that has to be addressed. So here’s what I thought I’d do:

  1. Keep both blogs (Exclamatories and this one) because I like it that TheContinuation has a private feel to it and I’d like to regain Exclamatories’ energy and interactivity.
  2. Update both blogs faithfully. Exlamatories will contain random things, opinions, short posts and maybe photos while TheContinuation will play host to more personal and lengthy text posts. (And I believe that’s a marketing strategy, LOL)

I guess that would be better because I’m kinda schizo. So if you guys would be so kind to follow Exclamatories again, I would really appreciate it. Thanks to Sieg and Banban for already doing so.

Domesticated me. Do you believe that shit?

So ze boyfriend and I are finally settled into our Makati pad. Yep, we live together now. The place is fabulous…well, as fabulous as our mediocre salaries can afford. But being homo and all, we somehow managed to make our room feel decadent. Motif: blue and brown. We bought these drapes that look so luxe because of the vintage pattern. We love it. *will post pics soon

The living room is still bare, no furniture yet. But we’ll get there. This week, we’ll be getting an area rug and throw pillows. The kitchen, meanwhile, is aight. OMG! We bought plates, and flatware, and glasses. So effin’ domestic, right? We have a moderately well-stocked pantry and a fridge is the next purchase. We want that Toshiba fridge with the bright orange front. It’s an accent piece. Anywho, everything will be pretty soon.

Oh yeah, we live in a two-bedroom with two girls—ze boyfriend’s friends from college. One of them cooks, so me is happy much.

Speaking of which, I’m hungry. Dinner now. Later, bitches!

I know, I know…

I’ve been away for too long, Tumblr. (But I’m back in town and this time I’m not leaving without you. *wink*) I hear some of you guys had that chicken promo at Max’s tonight. Ian and I would’ve come with, but it’s my mom’s birthday today (well, technically, yesterday since it’s now past 12) and boyfie said it wouldn’t be fun to go without me so he didn’t go as well. Sweet, no? He knows I love chicken and it’s gonna be fun watching me eat devour all that chicken. Although, I’m not completely sure I can eat that much because I just recovered from the stupid fucking flu and I’m still in the process of getting my appetite back. You should’ve seen me last week—there were dark circles around my eyes and I lost weight (in a bad way) and I was basically a zombie. Not very pretty.

But yeah, I feel like I do have to address my extended Tumblr absence. And the obvious reason is, I fucking hate you all. No, that’s not true. I’ve been exaggeratedly busy with real life—work and stuff. Oh yeah, a boy can get THAT busy. And as if I’m not satisfied with all that work, I signed up to be a blogger at International Business Times. They accepted me and my first post can be viewed here. I’m also in the process of doing a digital campaign for a client whose identity I am not permitted to disclose for security reason (yeah, right!), three activations for another client and I’m cooking something up in the form of “traditional” media that I hope will push through because I’m so excited about it. (Side note: Funny how media is now distinguished using words like “traditional” and “non-traditional.” It’s all very 2.0 and really unnecessary because as far as I’m concerned, the Internet is a delivery system—i.e. medium—and there’s nothing non-traditional about that.)

And I entered the Palanca Awards. Results in September. Fingers crossed.
